Help for WHOIS Lookup
1. Lookup scope
.CN domain names, Chinese domain names, IP addresses, and CNNIC SSL certificates.
2. .CN domain name lookup:
To look up a domain name ending with “.cn”, select the “.cn” tab, enter the domain name you want to look up in the input box without having to add “www” and the “.cn” suffix, e.g. cnnic and sina.com, and then enter the verification code to realize the lookup.
3. .中国, .公司or .网络 domain name lookup:
To look up a domain name ending with “.中国” or “.公司” or “.网络”, select the “.中国” or “.公司” or “.网络” tab, enter the domain name you want to look up in the input box without having to add “www” and the domain name suffix, e.g. cnnic, 人民网, 新浪and联想, and then enter the verification code to realize the lookup.
4. IP address lookup
The correct format for entering IPv4 addresses is: e.g. 210.72.0.0 - 210.72.31.255 or 210.72.0.0/19 or 210.72.0.0
The correct format for entering IPv6 addresses is: e.g.2001:F88:: or 2001:F88::/32
5. CNNIC SSL certificate lookup
Enter the domain name, e.g. cnnic.cn, and then enter the verification code to realize the lookup.
