Introduction about Chinese Domain Name Consortium（CDNC）：
In 2000, Chinese domain name consortium (CDNC) was set up in Beijing by four NICs around the Taiwan Strait, which are CNNIC, TWNIC, HKNIC and MONIC. It mainly takes in charge of the coordination and regulation about Chinese domain name around the world, and has played an important role for the delegation of “.中国” into the global root zone system. Till now, CDNC members convene meetings regularly every year, and conduct exchange and cooperation in the fields of Internationalized Domain Name (IDN), Email Address Internationalization (EAI), IPv6 and DNSSEC. CDNC is an organization open to the international community, and any individual or group at home and abroad, who is interested in the Chinese domain name and has relevant professional knowledge, can apply to be a member of the organization.
